SUMMARY:Before AI\, Before Analytics: Get the Entity Right
DESCRIPTION:Organisations talk about “customers”\, “suppliers”\, “risks” and “networks” yet many still struggle to answer a simple question: who are we really talking about? \nIn this webinar\, Rob French\, Head of Business Analysis at Quantexa unpacks how and why entities sit at the foundation of trusted analytics\, AI\, and decisioning\, and why so many initiatives fall short without them. \nWe’ll demystify entity resolution: what it is\, why it’s hard\, and how it differs from traditional data matching or master data approaches. \nDrawing on hands-on experience scaling entity strategies to millions of customer records across the world’s largest banks and government agencies\, Rob will show where these programmes succeed\, where they fail\, and what works in practice\, with live discussion and demonstrations throughout. \nDuring this live webinar\, you’ll learn more about: \n\nWhy entity-centric thinking changes everything: How shifting from records to entities transforms the way organisations understand customers\, risk\, and behaviour.\nThe pitfalls that derail implementations: The most common traps in entity resolution projects — and how experienced teams avoid them.\nDesign and governance that hold up in the real world: Practical approaches that survive contact with messy\, large-scale\, production data.\nThe downstream payoff: Real examples of how getting entities right surfaces risk and opportunity signals that would otherwise be missed\, delivering downstream value across analytics\, network insights\, AI\, and operational decisioning.
