4th Quarter Virtual Training Meeting

“How to plan & use information from Computers, Cell Phone and the Cloud”

This training will take us into the different sources of electronic data and the challenges of preserving, examining, and using that data in fraud cases. Computers, Cell Phones and the Cloud all have unique data types that can be crucial to a fraud case, and also posses unique challenges that when handled correctly can be a treasure trove of information. We will be talking through how to plan for and use these sources of information so that the data collected can be used successfully in your cases.

Matt Albee – CFCE, EnCE, SCERS President – DataChasers

Mr. Albee has worked in the field of computer forensics and E-Discovery since 1999, and is the owner of DataChasers, Inc. Matt comes from a law enforcement background having worked for 20 years in the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Franchise Tax Board. He is also a contractor for the US State Department, teaching courses to foreign law enforcement as part of the Global Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program. Two hours of continuing education credit for SIU personnel and attorneys (MCLE) is also provided to AFA members.
