n the complex world of insurance claims, one word more than any other, is responsible for untold millions of dollars of waste, abuse, and fraud. That word is deception and understanding the many ways to detect it should be a much greater priority for employers, TPAs and carriers writing policies for every line of insurance. Nearly every company’s new claim intake process includes some form of an interview and proactively applying detection deception techniques at the beginning of a claim will allow an adjuster to better recognize any subsequent material changes down the road.

This course aims to educate claim professionals on not only the important of insurance claim interviews but also the opportunity those interviews provide to gain a more in depth understanding of the person on the other side of the phone. This won’t be the typical “interviews” class with a reliance on debunked and inaccurate, old-school methodologies. Instead, we will rely on the wisdom and clearly explained, modern techniques from an abundance of highly qualified, world class experts from a variety of fields who’ve broken new ground in the realm of detection deception during interviews.
