Unlike traditional identity theft, synthetic identities are fabricated from a blend of real and fictitious data, allowing fraudsters to build credible profiles over time and exploit policy issuance and claims processes. In parallel, account takeovers—driven by phishing, credential stuffing, and social engineering—enable unauthorized access to existing customer accounts, facilitating fraudulent transactions and payouts.

This webinar will equip insurance fraud professionals with a comprehensive understanding of how these schemes operate, why they often bypass conventional controls, and what steps can be taken to detect and disrupt them effectively.
