The Watch Register is the world’s largest international database of lost, stolen, and counterfeit watches. Founded in 2014 as a specialist service of the Art Loss Register, The Watch Register leverages more than 35 years of expertise in recording and recovering lost and stolen high value luxury assets and cultural property, in the preowned watch market. Headquartered in London, UK, the Art Loss Register was founded in 1990 by former Lloyd’s of London insurance broker Julian Radcliffe with the support of the art trade and insurance industry.
Today, the combined database contains more than 700,000 uniquely identifiable items, including over 125,000 items registered through The Watch Register, representing an estimated value of more than $2.6 billion in watches alone.
