The New Hampshire Insurance Department (NHID) invites attorneys, investigators, and other professionals to a one-hour training session regarding insurance fraud investigations and how they are conducted in the State of New Hampshire.

Brendhan Harris, the Fraud Director at the NHID, is a retired Police Officer / Detective from the City of Virginia Beach and holds the professional designations of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI). Mr. Harris has been conducting criminal investigations for over 34 years.

The presentation will be in-person, as well as broadcasted online via Microsoft Teams for those with travel restrictions.

Attendees will learn:
• Details about the NHID’s Fraud Unit and how it operates within the state
• Various NH RSA’s that govern insurance fraud investigations
• Types of cases the NHID investigates and how they proceed to prosecution
• Various tools of the trade used to investigate fraud cases
• Real case studies on a variety of fraud schemes
• How the NHID’s Fraud Unit collaborates with federal and state agencies
