We will provide examples of how fraud is perpetrated and how to spot the indicators of suspicious workers comp claims. We will explore investigative techniques and discuss referrals to Law Enforcement.

He also served as an investigator of major crimes at the Texas Department of Insurance and as a consultant/expert witness following more than a decade as a police officer. Curtis is a frequent speaker/presenter at Insurance Claims Conferences, continuing education sessions and chapter meetings across the United States. His presentations and courses have been delivered to over 25,000 claims professionals. He is a licensed insurance adjuster and Certified Fraud Examiner. He has authored numerous insurance claims investigation courses in all lines of business.
